Ducati Owners Club

ducati The Ducati Vintage Club (DVC) is for anyone who owns or is interested in 1988 or older Ducati motorcycles. If you restore, ride or race a vintage Ducati single or twin near the San Francisco Bay Area you've found the right place.

Our aim is to grow the club and prove that vintage Ducati owners are as viable a group as any other vintage collectors. We hope to approach the independent suppliers of parts and request members be offered a discount when purchasing, in exchange for advertisement in our parts locater section. (Tentatively scheduled for late in 2008)

The DVC is active with the La Ducati Day event in officiating the Concorso. We also have booths at local shows such as Sequel Vintage Motorcycle show, IMS Cycle World International Motorcycle show. Coming in March of 2008 at the Santa Clara County fairgrounds the club is sponsoring the European Motorcycle show and Swap.

The DVC offers many varied benefits designed to meet the needs of the vintage Ducati owner including: electronic monthly newsletter, a Yahoo group, monthly meetings and social gatherings, local rides, tech sessions, and local event participation, and later this year supporting supplies parts discounts.

An electronic monthly newsletter (optional) for all members featuring news from Ducati North America "DNA" and the current racing forum, vintage racing news and tech stories including articles of interest to the vintage collector.

Our monthly meetings a social affair giving the vintage riders a place to have fun, eat great food, touch base and socialize with local members, from 6:30 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. on the second Monday of each month.

The Yahoo group offers a forum for vintage Ducati owners and admires to network on.

Help to locate hard to find parts and the advice and comments of members from around the world, which includes years of personal experience and technical know how.

Local rides are planned, along with the clubs three-year riding involvement in the Giro d'California. The club will be involved with the newly formed Motogiro d'Italia USA, which is coming in July of 2008.

Tech and tune up sessions are planned for the off riding season at local shops and will be announced via the DVC monthly electronic newsletter.

The level of involvement is purely a matter of choice and optional for all members, but to fully enjoy your vintage Ducati, to indulge in the enriching experience that vintage motorcycling can bring, you are earnestly invited to attend, participate and enjoy the Ducati Vintage Club.
