Help Great Ducati Racer Frank Scurria
Frank Scurria, a truly influential rider in Ducati racing history, a great friend and inspiring sportsman, was unfortunately involved in a motorcycle and SUV collision while participating in the inaugural Morogiro America 2008 rally.
He was riding a vintage Ducati at the time and luckily the good old bike took the brunt of the impact. Unfortunately, the accident has left Frank in critical condition with severe injuries. Luckily, the prognosis is good but his recovery will be long and challenging over this next year's time. Many of us know the hardship of recovering from a serious injury which is only compounded further by having to deal with the costs of healthcare. Frank dearly needs our help. Fortunately, there are a couple of ways in which we can come to his aid! 1. Donations can be sent via PayPal where Viki Smith of Ducati North America has dedicated an account for Frank. Log onto PayPal.com and enter Viki's email at veloce916@aol.com. All monies collected will be sent to Carol Scurria, Frank's sister. 2. Attend LDD2008 (La Ducati Day) On Sunday Oct 12, 2008 and make your donations at the Frank Scurria Benefit Booth located at the Ducati Vintage Club/Moto Concorso Tent.
